TestimonialsI read in my doctor's office, in the VistaUSA Magazine Sep. 2003, an article about US ENGLISH. but I had read the same article, two months ago in the same place. In this moment I'm almost 68 years old. I'm from Cuba, disabled, because my family and I, had an horrible car's accident in our land 14 years ago. Well this is not the topic that I would like to share with you. First, I want to congratulate Mr. Mujica and your organization. I studied English in my country a long time ago, first in the school and later when I had a job in last Telecommunication Enterprise in Havana, Cuba, and my boss recommended me to study English in the same place, it was 1973, I started and got an English course in one English School but outside the office where I worked. But when we came to USA. 12 year ago, I had to get my right hip operation, because I had a severe infection.. In the General Hospital, everybody only spoke English, well sometimes I spoke Spanish with different nurses that they were FROM Italia, Mexican American and etc. I was very bad in that time, but I told God, well Sir. if your have me the opportunity to back home, I will try to attend to English School.... I was interned in the Hospital about 30 days, more or less, then I back home waking with a walker, 2 weeks later, I started learning English in a Baptist Church, closed were we lived in that time.... afterwards was very difficult to attend to school for the disability that I had. But myself, I try to improve English, reading, watch TV...listen Radio Stations, and also practice with the people who speak English...but I think it isn't enough because I am old...some time I have problems, because I were a hearing aid, but no problem I try to continue learning English myself. I know people who has coming to USA..,They are Doctors, Engineering, etc. but they don't have their best in order to learn English, so is very sad to see young people that they are prepared to work in theirs careers, but not has to improve the English. Well I finish this modest e-mail...congratulations for your excellent work, God Bless your family, the people who works with your company and you forever.... J.M., California
