High-Dollar Fundraiser
Primary responsibility is to raise funds from
high-dollar donors and foundations. The person filling this position
answers directly to the Chairman and will oversee the coordination of
meetings with high-dollar donors. The applicant should be able to work
individually targeting those persons that might be prospects
for donations. The applicant should have an understanding of
how fundraising works for a non-profit organization, have excellent
writing and interpersonal skills, and be a self-starter.
The position will entail meeting with donors and suggesting
targets for the Chairman to meet. A person who has an existing
network of contacts is preferred.
